Awesome site. I lived on Pointer Island Lightstation - now called a "Lost Lighthouse" on account that it was decommissioned and the buildings cleared in 1989. My father was Lyle Bigelow, 7th keeper on Pointer from 1958 to 1983. My Dad served on three lightstations for a total of 27 years. Growing up on a lighthouse was fantastic, but often lonely. I am glad to see so much on the Internet to preserve the rapidly fading heritage of lighthouse keepers. Please keep up the good work.
